Hi everybody.  I'm Dean and this is a short intro on myself.  Hopefully Michelle will come in here and do the same for herself as well.

I was born Dean Chen on April 25, 1984 at 10:56 pm (don't believe me?  I'll scan a copy of my birth certificate for ya!  Not really.) to Glenn Chen and Diana Wang.  I attended several elementry schools as I hoped back and forth between my father and mother after they divorced.  I graduated from San Marino High School in 2002.  After high school, I took a semester off and worked as a technician at Konno Sport Tuning in Pasadena.  I went back to school that following spring semester as a double major in mechanical engineering and automotive technology.  I'm currently the owner of Honsport, an aftermarket retailer specalizing in high end suspension parts and semi-custom suspension builds for the sport compact and sports car markets.  Keep an eye for the web site coming live soon www.honsport.com.  I'm also the assistant manager for JVT Racing, a manufacture of performance exhaust components and radiators, specalizing in the sport compact community.  I do everything from sales, to tech support, to design and fabrication of new products and applications.  I'm also the President of the Initial Timing Race Group.  We're a Time Attack focused group of 5 members, fielding 3 cars ranging from an unlimited FWD class 2002 Acura RSX to a street RWD class 2007 Honda S2000.

I am one of those "nice guys".  You know, the guy that always gets put into the "friend" catagory with just about every single member of the oppisite sex.... espically those that one would be admiring at the time.  When meeting Michelle, what was diffrent?  I don't know.  Maybe I was tripping off E or something (I was a raver back then....  but then I also had hair then as well).  Not really.  I would figure it for having gathering up the confidence to let my initial intentions be known to a complete stranger...  and yet I also let my inner-nice guy and geek come out by asking for a screen name first over a phone number.  As time goes on, we get closer and I just fall deeper and deeper in love with her.  It will be 8 years this coming October, a damn better part of a decade, and she has been by my side this whole time.  I don't think there's any doubt that we're ment for each other.  More-so, I think its even more apparent that we're ment for each other and we would be one of those life long marrages...  something that's quite rare in this day in age.

It's Thursday August 28, 2008 and I, WWE fan, Darren is nervously awaiting the release date for my first five song EP, "The Subtle Things".  The Subtle Things is a collection of songs I have written over the years about my life experience and triumphs over adversity.  One day, I wish the WWE would use one of my songs as a theme song for a Pay-Per-View or something.

The EP is being produced by Cristian and Laz from the latin heavy metal band, Ill Nino, who have been influences of mine for a long time.  The album, however, has more of a pop/rock feel to it.  I have worked very hard on the songs, as well has the guys from Ill Nino, to make this the best possible sounding recording of me to date.

    Closure, What a wonderful feeling, It brings us ,Peace, Much needed rest, And the Ability to summon the courage to begin again. My close friends know, that That the ties of a 22 year relationship have been severed,  I have had the opportunity, And time to see, that the closure, that I needed, Could not in any way, or form come from the other person. My closure, I have found, must come from deep within  myself.

   My closure, is understanding, and forgiveness. It is a release of all previous conditions that I have once been bound, Through a chance conversation with her , short as it may have been, I saw our entire relationship that we had, Pass before my eyes in less than a minute. In A single space of time, I saw, and recognized, each and every conditon that has been set for me, by me, and my Former spouse.

  I have made every possible change, that I could make, To make her happy, And Many of them have turned out to be for the better, But, I have realized that our relationship, was, in fact a lie. Each and every change, and condition that was met, was not so much that I loved her, But instead, because I wanted to be loved by her. Through many changes, many sacrifices, This love that I wanted, did not come to pass.

She now, Wants to live her own life, I once told her, before she left, that she has been living her own life, and in doing so, prevented me from living mine. Now, at this moment let me tell you all, that we have both been living our own lives, Lives made up of conditions, both set, and accepted, to honor our marriage, and our love that we both thought we had, And wanted.

She was the first to end these years of lies, Lies of who we were, and who we wished to be. She said it first when she said, that she loved me,but She was'nt in love with me. It took until now, To see the truth in what she said, Before I was stuck in a circle of wonder, and confusion. I asked myself day and sleepless night, how could this be, I've done everything that she has asked me to do, but yet, she is not in love with me, No, this is the end, the end of lies, false dreams, and finally, the conditions.

   She will find someone to be in love with, and I will find someone to be in love with me, And we will both find ourselves, and who we really are, and move on in our own direction, and love once more, without conditions, in peace, and true happiness, And for the first time, I can now wish her more than health only, I can, With an open heart, And a more open mind, I can wish her happiness. Closure, what a wonderful feeling.

I just have to express my excitement that this is a long weekend! Adrian and I rarely get to spend two consecutive days together. This is really gonna be a treat! I'm not sure what the plans are gonna be, maybe bbq or something. But for sure the best part is getting to wake up next to each other two days in a row!!!!!

A few months back our friends threw us a surprise engagement party. They went to great lengths to keep it a secret and made it really special for us. We are truely blessed on a daily bases by the support from our friends and family. This is a picture of us after we practiced smashing cake in each others face.

It means the world for all the support you've given us.  We really appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts....

Dirk, Nasty, Stig, and Barack. The pre-fab four are to reform for a glittering tour of seaside pavillions on the north east of england. Since the retirement of Barry Wom the lovable scouse drummer with the mop top and the penchant for hairdressing, the band seemed at a loss, directionless, until the fatefull meating with barack.

"Oh yes, the ruttles have always been a great influence on me and michelle in our college days", says Barack. I was really into the 'let it Rot' era tunes, and it's a great honour to be going out on tour with these guys at last.

Barry Wom is said to be running for president of the united states.

 So the rest of our week has been pretty typical. Work...work and more work. During the week we really don't have too much time to do things. On Tuesday I got to my jewelry design class which I'm always excited about. I love this jewelry class. I really want to make it a career. I love to use my hands and my creativity. Getting to that point might be a little hard to do. The school I really want to go to is FIDM in Los Angeles but the tuition is so high I don't know if that passion will happen but I know Jose and I will try everything to make my passion come true. We support each other like that. We have our ups and downs but in the end we both want what is best for us as a whole and as individuals. I know this contest have many other applicants in it all wanting this perfect wedding for one reason or another. The reason I want to win is because we have so many other financial burdens I don't know if a wedding with our family and friends will be able to happen if we don't win. I have so many ambitions and I know Jose does to. I'm praying that we can at least make it to the finals. I would love the chance to get married this November. If not I don't know when we will have the money for it. If we don't I know it just was not meant to be right now but in my heart I feel it is. I've imagine how our wedding would be if we won this contest and how happy we would both be. Well I have to go do some home work right now so goodnight! Sleep tight!
